Because Transcend Broadband does not rely on costly landline "local loops", we cut the middle man telco out of the equation. This allows us to deliver our services at a fraction of the cost of standard T-1 Internet service. This allows us to deliver our broadband Internet service at rates typically 40% - 60% cheaper than telco landline providers.

Secure

It's not WiFi! Transcend Broadband's OFDM wireless technology is highly secure. It utilizes commercial grade network equipment that is not operated by or availabe to the general public, and operates in a different frequeny range than WiFi technology that can easily be intercepted by someone with a WiFi card and some tin foil. OFDM technology also utilizes advanced encryption techniques that to date have not been broken. Security is not an issue.
